Actually, on the subject of Arkansas: If anyone has a chance to go see the new film “MUD” I highly, highly recommend it. It’s leapt up to one of my favourite films of 2013, because:
- The most tangible, relatable characters I’ve seen in a while
- Foreshadowing like no one’s business
- Foreshadowing that ties together in the smartest way
- Delightful surprises, but not over the top
- Southern lifestyle (always a soft spot for me)
- Subtle and sweet soundtrack
- Gorgeous cinematography
- Did I mention characters? Because characters
- A wonderful plot/story
- Actors who aren’t over-acting
I mean I just… I really loved it okay.
